Projektleiter und Systembetreuer (m/w/d) für unsere Mobilitätsplattformen

MENTZ develops mobility platforms and e-ticketing solutions for public transport associations and transport companies that aim to promote sustainable modes of transport in their regions. These include system solutions that guide passengers through major cities like Munich, London, Sydney, and Dubai using sustainable transportation options. Special emphasis is placed on disruption and real-time information to calculate the most efficient and fastest connections.

As a project manager, your task is to design multimodal mobility platforms with disruption and real-time information, along with e-ticketing solutions, and build them together with our clients. In addition, you will support our clients who are already using our systems and act as their technical point of contact. Close collaboration with our clients and our software development team provides the opportunity to continuously improve and evolve our products.

What does your daily routine look like?

• You work as a technical project manager or as part of project teams in the context of our mobility platforms and e-ticketing solutions
• As a member of our team, you coordinate with colleagues and prioritize tasks together
• You analyze reported issues in information processing and collaborate with our development departments to resolve errors
• You work with our clients and colleagues to specify potential developments for our mobility platform, always keeping the customer and sustainable solutions for improving our products in focus
• You work nationally and internationally on Open Data platforms
• After appropriate onboarding and based on your suitability, you will lead client projects in an agile environment
• You prepare customer training sessions and conduct them at the client’s site

What should you bring to the role?

• A solid technical or academic education with a technical background, preferably also with a background in social sciences, geography, or business administration
• Professional experience in a comparable role
• Teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills
• Independent, reliable, and precise working style
• Proficient in using common software such as Notepad++, Office, Windows, and Linux
• Experience in scripting is helpful
• Basic knowledge of databases (Oracle, SQL, PostgreSQL) is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of network architecture is beneficial
• Experience with real-time interfaces and IT project management is helpful
• Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with our systems
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel 3-6 days per quarter
