MENTZ develops planning and information systems for all forms of transportation. These include system solutions that guide travelers through major cities such as Chicago, Sydney, or Dubai. Our systems not only tell travelers whether it’s faster to go by bike or public transport but also provide the appropriate ticket.

As a Technical Project Manager, your role is to oversee the implementation of new systems for our customers, from the offer phase through to final acceptance. Additionally, you will support clients who are already using our system and act as their technical point of contact, providing advice and assistance.

What does your day look like?

  • You work as a Technical Project Manager or as part of project teams on international customer projects in Sydney
  • You conduct workshops, project meetings, and conferences with clients in Sydney
  • You act as the direct point of contact for the client on-site
  • You manage the technical coordination and implementation of interfaces with various systems
  • You are responsible for test and release management
  • You collaborate with the development team to shape our software
  • You support clients in using our products, including providing advice and analyzing disruptions and error conditions
  • You identify opportunities and work continuously with our developers to improve our products

What should you bring to the role?

  • A solid technical education, such as an academic background, ideally with a focus on social sciences, geography, or business
  • Interest in and ideally experience with English-speaking international projects.
  • Willingness to travel to Australia
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in using common software tools and Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Strong teamwork skills and sociability
  • Ability to work independently, reliably, and accurately
  • Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with our systems
