MENTZ develops planning and information systems for all forms of transportation. This includes system solutions that guide travelers through major cities like Sydney, Chicago, London, and Vienna, not only explaining whether it’s faster to use a sharer or public transport, but also offering the appropriate ticket right away.

As a technical project manager, your task is to support the implementation of new systems at our clients from the offer phase to acceptance. Additionally, you will provide individual software support. The clients and projects you will be involved with are located worldwide. Your focus will be Austria, where we are responsible for the technical operation of the largest data platform for mobility.

What does your daily routine look like?

  • You work as a project manager or as part of project teams on internal development projects and customer projects with transportation companies and associations
  • You foster close and collaborative relationships internally and externally with colleagues and clients
  • You immerse yourself in technical areas and provide advice and support to your team and project partners
  • You collaborate with the development team to shape our software
  • You conduct training sessions and assist our clients in operating our software
  • You identify areas for improvement and work continuously with our developers to enhance our products

What should you bring to the role?

  • A solid technical education, such as an academic degree, preferably with a background in social sciences, geography, or business
  • Proficient use of common software tools and Windows
  • Team-oriented and outgoing
  • Enthusiasm for IT challenges of the future
  • Ability to work independently and reliably
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL) is an advantage
  • Willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with our systems
