Software Meets Scene

MENTZ presented mobility solutions to the Young Mobility Network

Local members of the Young Mobility Network made their way into our Munich office to exchange on a range of topics from mobility to the latest in public transport. The evening included a presentation of our software solutions and allowed us to engage in active discussions with young mobility enthusiasts.

“It’s always exciting for our network to gather new impressions and learn how companies are contributing to the transition in mobility. That’s why meeting at MENTZ was a perfect match,” said Deike Albers, Team Lead in EFA support and regional hub coordinator of the Young Mobility Network.

Managing Director Christoph Mentz kicked off the evening by introducing the MENTZ and talking about national and international projects that the company is involved in. A survey of the MENTZ product portfolio followed.

Specifics were covered in a session about our MaaS-App Gullivr. Team Lead Jessica Neschitsch provided a glimpse behind the curtain of app development. Her talk also addressed the requirements and functions of the app. As part of her presentation, UX-designer Maria Bernhardt discussed which customer requirements need to be taken into account in app development. The topic of accessibility enjoyed a prominent role in this discussion.

Andreas Kunde, Head of Support EFA & GIS at MENTZ, gave a keynote talk in which he described what a deeply integrated on-demand booking looks like from a software manufacturer’s perspective. He presented on the background systems and showed how complex certain background processes are when booking these types of services.

After the talks, the participants went to a Mexican restaurant, where the regulars of the Young Mobility Network continued discussing the latest topics in mobility. “I really enjoyed spending time with young people who see the world of mobility as we do and realizing once again that our software solutions are contributing to the mobility of tomorrow. It makes working in this industry even more satisfying,” summarized Andreas Kunde.

We would like to thank all participants at the meeting. We were very pleased to receive positive feedback, respond to interesting questions, and be part of fruitful discussions!
