New Web Layout for the Journey Planner Launched in England

Our latest web layout for the journey planner has reached the British Isles. The first two English customers, NPTI (National Public Transport Information*) and Merseytravel, have officially launched our standard web layout product SL3+. NPTI operates a national journey planner, which is mainly used in the South West of England, but also provides public transport data for the entire country. This journey planner is now available with a new look and feel for web browsers and adjusts automatically thanks to a responsive design, whether on a notebook or mobile device.

The SL3+ product was properly configured for NPTI with their colors, icons, forms, and transport services, which is important for their corporate branding. Merseytravel from Liverpool also uses the national journey planner, but with its own layout that was customized to match Merseytravel’s design.

In addition to public transport data, information from bike-sharing provider BerylBikes was also integrated into the journey planner, which enables multimodal routing in the southern regions of England using the NPTI layout. As an example, a route can now include a ride with a shared bike to the nearest station. Bike availability is conveniently displayed on the map.
