Successful Launch of CBS Module in DIVA Planning Software for VOR and NÖVOG

We are pleased to announce that the Austrian transport authorities of the Ost-Region (VOR) and of Lower Austria (NÖVOG) celebrated the successful launch of the CBS module (Change Broadcast Service) in our DIVA planning software. This innovation helps planners in Vienna and Lower Austria work together on different schemes and exchange detailed timetable data.

Our customers VOR and NÖVOG are now able to plan across authorities in real-time. This development reflects MENTZ’s response to the political decision to transfer specific timetable planning tasks from the VOR to the NÖVOG. The CBS module continues to enable comprehensive planning for both project partners – but now significantly more independently than before.

Project manager Rainer Hennig summed up the project enthusiastically, “This marks the end of a challenging but interesting project – and the beginning of an exciting journey ahead.”

The CBS module is a service that transfers data triggered by changes between clients of a DIVA system. Using the CBS module, stop data, vehicle schedules, and route data can be jointly created, edited, and managed. The service functions as a subscription and makes for efficient exchange between the clients involved.

We are proud to have achieved this milestone and are looking forward to the further developments and possibilities resulting from integration of the CBS module.
