More Flexibility When Purchasing Tickets

Apple Pay and Google Pay Expand Their Payment Options

Passengers now have more options when purchasing tickets digitally in the MENTZ Shop. In addition to the existing options (credit card, PayPal, SEPA), Apple Pay and Google Pay are now fully supported by the Swipe check-in/check-out system. These new payment options can be selected in the app’s user profile and used for direct check in. Billing occurs on a daily basis in line with a best-price principle.

The Regensburg Public Transport Authority (RVV) has also made Apple Pay and Google Pay available for ticket purchase at the standard fare and for subscription passes like the Deutschland ticket. This allows customers to quickly and digitally pay for the entire range of tickets in the MENTZ ticket shop for Regensburg.
